Woo hoo! Welcome to episode 33

of the Assessment Alchemist podcast. My name is Tina Wiles, and I am your host. And this is the finale of the six Weeks From panic to series. And today we're going to talk about how to actually pass the exam, the complete approach. So again, welcome. I am so excited that you are here.
00:00:46:28 - 00:01:09:08

If you've been with me on this whole six week journey. Congratulations on sticking with it. And thank you. Grateful that you have been with me. If you're just finding the show. Welcome. Everything that we're going to talk about, more details, like in your earlier episodes. So, go ahead and you can find those out there.
00:01:09:10 - 00:01:38:07
Unknown
I also have blogs for for each week. And I genuinely hope that you can go back and get some tidbits from the other episodes. And today I'm going to try to tie everything together. So let's start off with, what we've been through and, at the end of the episode today, I'm going to talk about something I've built specifically to help engineers like you.
00:01:38:09 - 00:02:10:02
Unknown
So week one was about the, the data behind passing the exam. The feeling the p e is not a knowledge problem, typically. Like, there might be a couple weak areas, but typically it's not knowledge. It's people are failing by. Just a couple of problems and it can come down to, some of the things we talk about in the later episodes.
00:02:10:06 - 00:02:36:06
Unknown
Okay. So it's not a knowledge problem. It's a performance problem. Week two was about some science behind how studying harder can actually make things worse. And studying harder is typically, the go to, I didn't pass so that means I need to put in more hours. Okay. Week three was giving you a tool to help with mindset called the physiological side.
00:02:36:09 - 00:03:05:04
Unknown
And, well, actually, I will probably talk about it today at some point. And then, week four, we interviewed Mal, and, she failed the P nine times past at the 10th. She shared her story from going from her worst enemy to her biggest advocate. And, this was a follow up a year after she passed the P.
00:03:05:06 - 00:03:26:05
Unknown
Week five last week was about strategy. Using the the handbook, pacing, the things you suck at all that was talked about last week. And also the formula of content plus mindset plus strategy equals success. And
00:03:26:05 - 00:03:49:14
Unknown
The formula that I've developed over the past 20 years of working on the standardized test prep industry is that content plus mindset plus strategy equals success. And here's kind of the hard truth about I have tried to give you so much information over the past, six weeks.
00:03:49:14 - 00:04:15:14
Unknown
knowing about the physiological side is not the same as being able to use it when you need it during the test. Reading about pacing and saying, oh yeah, I should do that is not the same as practicing and having the plan and being ready, to use the strategies that that we talked about when you're taking the test.
00:04:15:14 - 00:04:43:11
Unknown
Right. So it can feel really easy when you're starting something new or some of the mindset stuff that I talked about. But it's really easy to slide back into old habits of trying to study harder and doing things alone. And so no ng what is wrong? Like, now you realize that, hey, it isn't just that I, need to study more.
00:04:43:13 - 00:05:09:03
Unknown
There's other things that I can do that are going to help me pass the test. Knowing that and then being able to fix that are two separate things. And, that's why I've created from panic to passing. Okay. So, What panicked from panic. The passing is, is, the things that I've talked about over the past six weeks.
00:05:09:05 - 00:05:35:13
Unknown
It's trying to help make that sick and make it habits. Okay. It's short for self-paced videos. To go through a mindset and strategy tools does not cover the content on the exam. But we talk about how to study and use the content, and mindset and strategy. It's not tons of extra hours, right? I tried to keep everything very short and fast paced.
00:05:35:16 - 00:06:00:17
Unknown
There's a workbook that goes along with it to help with exercises, to turn the tools that we're talking about into habit. And there's optional coaching. So private sessions with me where I can help you build your performance plan. And like, specifically what to help you. And then also coaching right before the test with the final mindset piece.
00:06:00:20 - 00:06:30:14
Unknown
So you could do it on your own, or you could do it with me. But either way, you're not alone anymore. Okay. I'm going to help you pass the PE. You heard from Mal. I am so honored that I was on the journey with her. And she failed the PE nine times. Before we met, and, I, we worked together, and she passed the 10th time.
00:06:30:16 - 00:06:57:02
Unknown
She changed her mindset and her approach, and it made all the difference. Jack is a licensed PE in Indiana. He finished the from panic to passing program in December, and he passed the test in January. He said the mindset piece and the program, is his favorite and that he still uses the breathing techniques and quieting the inner critic that I that I talk about in the program.
00:06:57:05 - 00:07:31:28
Unknown
He still uses those today. And then another person that went through from panic to passing and shared a quote. They they emailed me afterwards and said, quote, I have never felt so good at the end of an exam as I did with this one. Okay, so I will be there with you. So, I am so confident that what I have puts together, is gonna help you pass the test that I've created.
00:07:32:00 - 00:07:56:22
Unknown
I call it the come back guarantee. If you complete the from panic to passing program, you stay engaged with it. And you still do not pass your PE. I will pay for your retake. That's how confident I am that you're going to pass. All the details are in, on the program page for the come back guarantee and even more about what's included.
00:07:56:25 - 00:08:31:14
Unknown
You can find it at From panic to passing.com. That's from panic to passing.com. And if anything that I've talked about over the last six weeks resonated with you. This is your invitation. Check out the program. Pick the option that fits you, and you literally have nothing to lose if you don't pass the test. And you go through the program and I will pay for your retake.
00:08:31:16 - 00:08:55:26
Unknown
So you have nothing to lose. Your exam date is coming either way. The only question is whether you can walk in with a plan and a different approach. And you're you're it's you're going to it's not just going to feel different. You're going to pass. You can do this. Mel did this nine tries before she passed.
00:08:55:29 - 00:09:09:20
Unknown
You're not broken. You're not behind. You are an amazing engineer, and you don't need to figure this out by yourself. You will pass.
